How Rigworld Works

Build a mining empire, defend it, and earn $RIG — together with players worldwide.

What is Rigworld

Rigworld is a live mining MMO on Solana. You run your own crypto-mining operation: buy and upgrade data centers, defend them from viruses and hackers, and mine the in-game currency Bits — which you turn into the $RIG token.

The world has two layers. The Hub is a shared town where every player walks around together in real time. Your Office is your private datacenter floor where all the mining and building happens.

Anyone can play for free as a guest. Connect a Solana wallet and your progress becomes yours on-chain — and you can earn real value.

Rigworld town
The shared Hub — a living pixel town where real players meet.

The Hub

The Hub is the town everyone spawns into. Move with WASD or by clicking the ground, and press E (or click a building) to use it. Other online players appear live around you, each with their name above them.

Each building is a service:

  • Rig Shop — overview of data centers and what they do.
  • Bank — convert your Bits into $RIG, and (after launch) withdraw real tokens.
  • Market — peer-to-peer hardware trading. coming soon
  • Leaderboard — the top miners by output.
  • Your Office — the entrance (portal) to your private datacenter.

The Hub is also where the social side lives: it's the same town for everyone, so what you build and how you rank is visible to the community.

Your Office

Enter through the Your Office building to reach your own datacenter floor. The room is pre-built with rows of server racks that start out locked — you unlock them one by one as you grow.

Your office interior
Your office — three control computers along the top, rows of server racks below.

Three computers run along the top wall. Walk up and press E:

  • Buy DC — purchase the next data center (or buy a specific locked rack directly).
  • Defense — buy antivirus units and hire security guards.
  • Stats — your live mining rate, hash, power usage, threats and $RIG.

The door on the left takes you back out to the Hub.

Mining & Bits

Every active data center produces hash per second. Total hash is converted into Bits — the soft currency that powers everything you build. The more racks you run (and the higher their level), the faster Bits flow in.

Mining never sleeps: when you're away, your racks keep earning and you collect the Bits when you return (capped at 8 hours of offline time).

Spend Bits to:

  • Buy new data centers and upgrade existing ones.
  • Buy antivirus and hire security.
  • Raise your power cap with the + Power button.
  • Convert into $RIG at the Bank.
Power matters — every rack draws power. If your total draw goes over your power cap, all racks slow down proportionally. Keep upgrading + Power so your fleet runs at 100%.

Data Centers

Data center rack

Racks are pre-installed but locked. Walk up to a locked rack and press E (or click it) to buy it — it starts mining the moment you own it. Each rack you buy costs a little more than the last, so growth is steady.

Already own a rack? Open it again to upgrade it. Levels go from 1 to 5, and each level multiplies that rack's hash output — and its power draw, so plan your power.

  • Base output: +40 hash/s at Level 1.
  • Levels 1–5: output and power scale with level.
  • Scaling price: each new rack and each upgrade costs more than the last.
  • Sell anytime for a partial Bits refund.

Threats & Defense

Once you own a couple of data centers, threats begin to spawn: viruses, malware and hackers, each tougher and more rewarding than the last. A threat latches onto one of your racks and pauses its output until you clear it.

You defend two ways, and they stack:

  • Antivirus — a global system that automatically attacks the toughest active threat.
  • Security guards — hired staff that roam your floor and hunt the nearest threat.

Every threat you clear drops a Bits bounty, so good defense pays for itself.

$RIG

$RIG is Rigworld's token, launched on pump.fun. It connects what you build in-game to real value on Solana.

  • Bits → $RIG: convert at the Bank at a rate of 10,000 Bits = 1 $RIG.
  • Deflationary: a 5% burn is applied on every conversion.
  • On-chain balance: connect Phantom to see your real wallet $RIG inside the game.
  • Withdrawals: open once the token is live and the treasury is funded; until then your $RIG accrues in-game.

SOL Rewards for Holders

Rigworld earns creator fees from pump.fun, and those fees flow back to the people who actually play. Hold $RIG in your wallet and keep mining, and you share in a real SOL reward pool.

Rewards are distributed proportionally to your on-chain $RIG holdings among eligible active miners, and you claim your share straight to your wallet.

FAQ

Is Rigworld free?

Yes. You can play and mine for free as a guest. Connecting a wallet unlocks on-chain progress, $RIG and SOL rewards.

Do I need a wallet?

Only to earn real value. We use Phantom on Solana, and connecting just signs a message to prove ownership — we never touch your funds without your approval.

Does mining continue when I'm offline?

Yes, up to 8 hours of offline earnings are waiting when you return.

Can I lose my data centers?

No — threats only pause a rack's output until you clear it. You never lose a rack you bought.

Is $RIG an investment?

No. $RIG is a community utility token for the game and can lose value. Only spend what you can afford to lose — see the Terms.
